WORDS WILL CHANGE YOU LIFE
Pro. 18:21 Amp. A man's [ moral ] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [ whether good or evil ].
Words are the most powerful force in the world. If you do not like the way your life is going right now you are going to have to change. God's not going to change. The devil is not going to change. So that leaves you to do the changing. And YOU CAN change. You can start spending more time with God and His Word. As you draw closer to Him in prayer and in His Word, your lips will begin to speak right words that will bring good things to pass in your life.
We know that our words have the ability to effect our future because the scripture says our tongue determines whether we reap life or death. Death and life is in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it, either for life or death. You can cause blessing of cursing to come into your life by the words you speak. I like Deuteronomy 30:19, " I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live."
How do you choose. You use words. You decide what you want and then you speak it. Make your mouth say those things that build up
Proverbs 21:23," He who guards his/her mouth and tongue keeps himself from troubles." Troubles can be the bitter fruit a person must eat or the unpleasant consequence he/she must experience when the mouth is not discipline to agree with the Word of God. For example the Bible says one is a fool if he/she speaks what ever is on his/her mind. Whether or not you believe that words have this much power doesn't change it. What you sow with your mouth sows seed and oneday you will reap a harvest of that seed. So if you aren't happy with the way your life is today begin to speak changes according to the Word of God and you will see the desired results come to pass. When we speak God's Word, we can be sure that we will come out the victor. Make your words agree with what God has said and with what you want to come to pass and you will have it.
Now understand this. Your faith is released through your words. Also fear is released through your words. There may be times when things don't look so good but remember, we walk by faith not by sight. We speak what God has said about our situation even though three or four of your most spiritual friends call you a nut. In situations that you can't change God's word is the only thing that matters. God has given His angels charge over you. They have been charged to hearken to God's word spoken in faith. PSALM 103:20, "Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His Word, heeding the voice of His word."
You have to put God's promises of deliverance in your heart and in your mouth in order to give the angels the voice of the word they need to protect and deliver you. You have to refuse to speak words that are contary to what God has said.
Remember from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. ( MATT. 12:35 ) If you are filled with fear, the mouth will speak fear, ( see my last blog ) if you are filled with faith, you will speak faith.
