Words Create Life or Death

Proverbs 12:14 (Amplified Bible)14From the fruit of his words a man shall be satisfied with good, and the work of a man's hands shall come back to him [as a harvest].

Proverbs 13:2 (Amplified Bible)2A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth, but the desire of the treacherous is for violence.

Proverbs 18:20-21 (Amplified Bible)20A man's [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. 21Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

Matthew 12:34-37 (Amplified Bible)34You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. 35The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. 36But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak. 37For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

I have articles on my blog site concerning your tongue. You will be tomorrow what you declare with your words today. Words can make you the head and not the tail. Words can declare you the victor not the victim. I heard someone say, " you connot help living your life by the words you speak but you can determine what words you live by." That is pretty powerful and also very true.

God has called us to live by His words. He wants us to walk in agreement with what He has said about us. He has called us righteous: He has called us healed: He has called us abundantly supplied. Now He wants us to call ourselves that and walk in faith receiving all that He has said about us. Remember John 10:10 and Ephesians 2:10.

John 10:10 (Amplified Bible)10The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows).

Ephesians 2:10 (Amplified Bible)10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

This is ours if we believe it. We determine it is ours by the words we speak. Faith always speaks and calls things that aren't as though they were. Let me encourage you to start saying what God has said, instead of what you have heard others say.

Lord bless you. Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
