KINGDOM WITHIN

Last night I taught on the Kingdom of God within you. What I endeavored to show is that as believers we have our citizenship in heaven.(Phil 3:20)That when we are born into the kingdom of God we change our citizenship and become a citizens of a kingdom that will exist forever. This is a kingdom without end. The Bible says in Colossians 1:13, "He has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the son of His Love." I heard an example given by a preacher of what it is like. He said that he was driving around Haiti (the poorest nation in our hemisphere), when all of a sudden he saw a big beautiful white mansion with a six foot wrought iron fence around it. The grounds on the inside of that fence were well manicured, and the building was well kept, while everything outside of this fence was nothing but slum.He asked his driver what was this and was told the American Embassy. Now you have to know that the person living in that building did not lack for anything. While there was lack all around the outside perimeters there was none inside. Whatever they needed they just sent a request home and got it. That is a picture of what living in the Kingdom of God is like. Understand that the currency of the Kingdom of God is faith. Even though you may have been born into the Kingdom of God you must have faith to operate in this kingdom.There is no lack in this kingdom. Everything you need for life and godliness is already laid up for you in this kingdom. God has already done for you everything He is going to do. It is up to you as a citizen of this kingdom to take the responsibility to obtain those things which are already laid up for you.The Kingdom of God is within you.There is no lack in the Kingdom.
