LIVING IN FAITH EVERYDAY

The Bible tells us:
A. Whatever is not of faith is sin.(Romans 14:23)
B. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. (Heb. 11:6)
C. The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:7, Gal.3:11, Heb.10:38)

Faith is the very power that God Himself used to create the universe. It is the original basic spiritual law around which everything happens in God's plan for the ages.

The word translated "faith" in the New Testament, is pistis, which means the conviction of the truth of anything; belief with the predominate idea of trust or confidence.

Faith is an absolute trust in the truth of something, even in the apparent absence of any physical proof.

Faith, is being up on a ladder painting your house, the ladder falls, but you just keep painting.

"Fear knocked on the door, Faith answered and no one was there." Faith is not an abstract substance, it is a real substance based on the TRUTH of God's word.

I John 5:14-15 NKV says,"Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we ask of Him." So we need to know what His will for us is.

HIS WORD TELLS US WHAT HIS WILL IS:

That we be saved. (Mk.16:16,Lk 9:56, Jn.3:17,Acts 2:21, Ro.10:9)
That we be healed. (I Peter 2:24, James 5:15, Is. 53:4-5)
That we prosper. (Ps. 1:3, III Jn. 2:1, II Cor. 8:9)
That we be blessed. (Matt. 6:25-33, Eph. 1:3)
That all things work together for our good. (Ro. 8:28)
That we have abundant life. (Jn. 10:10)
That all our need will be met. (Matt. 6:8, Phil. 4:19)
That we have what we pray for in Faith. (Mk. 11:23-24, I Jn. 5:14-15)

These are just a few of the things that He has assured us of in His word. These ARE His WILL.
Here are a few more:
Joy, liberty, peace, rest, rich rewards, victory, wisdom, and many, many, more.

Every person has the same opportunity to operate in Great faith.

Some people feel that some OTHER people have greater faith than they do by some divine design. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Romans 12:3 NKJ, "For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

We are given the same measure. How each person uses their faith, determines the effectiveness of their faith. The way to develop great faith is by hearing the word of God and then acting on the word that you have heard.

Romans 10:17 (Amp) "So faith comes by hearing (what is told), and what is heard comes by the preaching (of the message that comes from the lips) (of Christ the Messiah Himself.)

There is a gift of faith mentioned in the nine gifts of the Spirit, (I Cor. 12:9) This is not in operation all the time. (This is a different subject)

We are talking about L.I.F.E. Living in faith everyday. Ultimately, faith is from God. It is not something we conjure up in the time of trouble.

Why is faith so important?

As already stated, it is the most fundamental spiritual law. Ro. 14:23 says, Whatever doesn't originate and proceed from faith is sin. (Whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful.(Amp)

To live To live by faith, means that everything that we do is to be done according to the law of faith.

Hebrews 11:;1 (Amp) " Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of things (we) hope for, being the proof of things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality. (Faith percieving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.) I Cor. 5:7 NKJ, "FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT.")

Believing is seeing; is the essence.
Thoae who walk by faith and not by sight have to be ruled by spiritual realities, this is how God operates.

Operating by faith caused Peter to be able to walk on water. When he got outside of faith and looked at the physical realities, it caused him to sink.

If you want to be a water-walker, you have to have "stepping out of the boat faith." Jesus didn't walk on the water because He was God, He walked on the water because He wanted to join the disciples in the boat. He took His faith and acted on it by walking on the water to get to the boat. Peter was not God, but he acted on his faith at the word, COME.
Faith cometh by hearing Jesus speak. Jesus said COME and Peter walked on the water.

Faith is an obedient response to God's word. Where did Peter's FEAR come from? He saw the waves. Fear comes in the absence of faith. Disobedience to God's word. Disobedience to God's word is sin; Whatever is not of faith is sin.

Our faith can be developed only by hearing God's word and acting on it. As we act in faith, our faith grows and is strengthened. As we act in faith, we act in obedience to God's word as we have heard it.

James says. "Faith without works is dead." It is not enough to say you believe, you must prove your belief by acting in obedience to God's word.

If you want to live life to the fullest, you must live a life of faith. Remember, God gives to every born again person the measure of faith. Faith comes by listenign to the word of God, and you receive from God according to your faith.
